Fabian is a lawyer and has been working for many years in the complex intersection of restructuring, insolvency, and capital market law. Even before founding DMR Legal, he worked closely with his current partner, Dr. Tobias Moser, and has since been advising companies, investors, and other stakeholders in challenging economic situations. His focus is on providing strategic support for demanding restructuring and reorganization processes – from the reorganization of complex debt and bond financing to the design of tailor-made financing instruments and the implementation of comprehensive pre-insolvency and insolvency restructuring measures. Thanks to his proven expertise in capital market law, Fabian has a deep understanding of the legal framework for bond issues and alternative financing structures.

In addition to his work as an advisor, Fabian is an experienced litigator: he represents the interests of creditors and stakeholders with determination and strategic skill in both out-of-court negotiations and litigation. His clients value him as a solution-oriented contact who combines economic understanding with legal precision.

Before joining DMR Legal, Fabian gained extensive experience at two major international law firms specializing in corporate law and banking and capital markets law. He studied law at the University of Augsburg and completed his legal training at the Munich Higher Regional Court and at the major international law firm Hogan Lovells International LLP. After his legal clerkship, he worked at the law firm Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Munich while pursuing his doctorate. He earned his doctorate in stock corporation and transformation law and regularly publishes on selected topics with a focus on banking and capital market law, commercial and corporate law, and insolvency and restructuring law.
